Depending on how you use Pressio, we may collect:
- account information such as email address and authentication-related identifiers;
- product data such as bean records, brew logs, grinder settings, saved recipes, preferences, and setup choices;
- messages and support submissions you send through feedback or support flows;
- technical data such as device, browser, app performance, and analytics events;
- AI usage data needed to fulfill AI requests and operate model access;
- user-supplied AI provider credentials when you choose to connect them.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and secure the app and website;
- sync your brewing data and preferences across sessions;
- generate AI-assisted recommendations and personalized brewing features;
- respond to support requests, detect abuse, and troubleshoot issues;
- improve product quality, reliability, and feature decisions;
- comply with legal obligations and protect the service.
3. Browser Storage and Authentication
Pressio uses browser storage, authentication tokens, and related client-side mechanisms to keep you signed in, save app state, and support offline-friendly behavior where available.
4. AI Providers and Third Parties
Some Pressio features rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, and AI inference. When you use those features, relevant data may be processed by those providers as needed to deliver the feature.
5. Bring Your Own AI Keys
If you add your own supported AI provider key, Pressio stores that key so it can make requests on your behalf. In the current implementation, those keys are stored in encrypted form before being persisted server-side.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information:
- with service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate Pressio;
- when needed to investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues;
- to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request;
- as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer involving the service.
7. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, operate the product, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or security needs. Retention periods may vary by data type and product function.
8. Your Choices
You can update or remove certain profile and product data inside the app. You can also remove connected AI provider credentials from settings. Some residual information may remain in backups, logs, or records needed for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
9. Children's Privacy
Pressio is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and provide additional notice in the product when appropriate.
